Eurotrip 2012- Vienna Part 3

Our final day in Vienna was spent at Schönbrunn Palace. It was spectacular. SO SO COOL! But sadly you’re not allowed to take any photos of the interior :( So you have to take my word for it. I need to read all the things about the Habsburgs. Bloody interesting stuff.

All was going well until Roisin and I decided to have an epic Roisin and Kayla argument in the palace gardens. This means I told her I was going to live alone with dogs and she took great offence. *Insert 3-4 hour argument here*.

We finally made up and luckily this was the only ma-hassive/ridiculous fight we had during our travel journeys. Then I got it into my head that I really wanted to see the Danube. I had originally wanted to take this tram ride that goes all around the city center but I kept failing to find which stops the tram started from- so my new task was heading to the water. We just sat by the Donaustadtbrücke and peered off in the distance at UNO City and the Donauturm which is one of the world’s tallest structures.

Then we sauntered back through the city, back to our frightening and far away hotel. Vienna is lovely … but I don’t think I really fell in love with it.

Next stop- Grunau Im Almtal.
