Scotland Adventure Day 2- Forth Bridge, Dunkeld, Aviemore, Culloden, Inverness

I sadly haven’t had wifi for ages- hence the lack of posting- so I’m gonna try and catch up ;)

The second day of my adventure was actually the first day of the official tour. We left the Haggis Adventures office a little bit after 9 with our tour guide Gill.

On the walk to the office-

Our very first stop was at the Forth Bridge. Really, really spectacular.

The second stop was Dunkeld.

The cathedral…

I couldn’t help taking a photo of this elderly couple… heh

River Tay– which is the longest river in Scotland.

This garden is the best!

I acquired a macaroni pie and it was delicious.

We also stopped in Aviemore for a bite to eat along the way. If I could ski I would probably head back there at some point.

Then we went to Culloden– the site of the final confrontation of the Jacobite Rising where about 2,000 highlanders from Scottish clans were buried. Powerful stuff.

Next was Inverness. – River Ness.

Some pretty lovely architecture mmhmm

The castle- (or should I say “castle”)

And this was the delicious pad thai that I had in a Scottish pub called Hootananny.

More soon!
