2009- New Year Survey

Here we go- time to think about 2009

1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?

-I went to London, UK (then decided to live there for a while)
-flew somewhere for a weekend
-got my G2 driving license

2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I kept most of my resolutions, or at least gave ’em a good go. The problem here is that as the year goes on things happen, priorities change- blah blah blah. But yes, I will be making more for 2010.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
I feel like a ton of people had kids but it’s hard to keep track of all the new babies. Thank you Facebook.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
My Grandpa O’Malley.

5. What countries did you visit?
The UK.

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
Oh God, loaded question. I guess I’m gonna go with- a little more focus. I would like to get more done- Haha. Thus, more time.
2009 was pretty rough truth be told- so perhaps just a bit more fun. Less stress and brain melting.

7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Hmmm not sure about specific dates, but some months with particular events stand out:
Apr- Hardest month at work in the history of life. I didn’t get a lunch break for over 3 weeks.
Sept- Going to London, Dan and I ending our relationship
Oct- Dan’s sister Michelle’s wedding, my grandfather passing and the funeral, going to London on a whim
Nov- Going to London again, my extreme emo-ness to the power of 17 and Bevan & Arthur’s epic friendship pullin’ me out of it, moving out of my apartment and throwing my stuff into storage, and finishing NaNoWriMo again
Dec- Hangin’ with a new friend, time at home with my folks, my Grandma O’Malley fainting at church, movin’ to London
(basically the last four months have been just… :O)

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Doin’ NaNoWriMo and pullin’ out 12,000 words in one night. Also, some of the drawings I’ve done have startled me. I think in my head, I’m shittier than I really am.
