I’ve been sitting here trying to unwind after a busy weekend and this seems to be doing the trick:

This also works because it’s in the spirit of SDCC and it makes me almost feel like I was able to go. (Lie)
This is a lazy post because I spent Friday night cleaning, Saturday morning/afternoon cleaning, Saturday night birthday partying and finally today preparing a bachelorette party followed by a Wedding Shower. *insert sleepy here*
I was gonna be all epic and whatnot but then I thought… meh. So you get Kevin Smith.
Some people not so keen on the man- me personally, big fan. His films are one of the few things I can actually quote. I was once told that “boys quote things and girls sing Disney”. In this case that comment is very, very true.

SDCC is insane, thought a drop in the bucket compared to cons in Japan. But I burnt out on SDCC years ago, but I fear work will force me back next year. At least San Diego is beautiful. and mexican food is yum.

yeah, I wonder whats the deal with Kevin Smith Haters. I know people who love Gilmore Girls, Tarantino etc because of the snappy dialogue, but hate SMith for the very same reason. whaaa?
Though I’m not a huge fan of his movies, (other than mall rats which I LOVE), I dig his work, if that makes sense. I follow his work, though I don’t consider myself a fan. Weird. I’ve only seen Clerks once, and I’m sure I fell asleep during it. In retrospect, I fall asleep during many a movie.

I’ve never been to SDCC. I feel like it’s something I have to do at least once though… one day oooonnne day. Then I can burn out on it and we can grumble about it :)
I don’t know why either. He used to be super hip then he almost pulled one of those “he got too cool and thus he is no longer cool” things.
I love love love Clerks haha. So good. (Cartoons too) Maybe it had to do with the fact that I lived in the middle of nowhere with nothing better to do but watch Kevin Smith flicks over and over haha?
You should watch it again… this time without the whole sleep thing
